10/5/06 In ground plumbing for bathrooms, drinking fountains and drains. Once this is complete the concrete floor will be poured.

One rather large saw blade for cutting through brick.

Another one of those intriguing openings underneath the old library. This one is going to be used as an HVAC duct track.

The new ramp leading down from the old library to the new addition. The former children's room will be office space.

These windows have been removed to make room for doorways connecting the old library and the addition. The ramp from the previous picture comes in through and below the lower right window.

10/31/06 New Furnace is in place.

Friends Storage, finally a space to hold books for Book Sales!

Friends Storage again from the other side.

Sample of the exterior brick work. The middle band will actually be at the same height as the banding on the old library.

A closer view.

The tiny electrical room.

The other wall, this room is about 6x8 ft.

The ramp is taking shape.

Back hall, to the left is the electrical room, just beyond is one of the furnaces and the hot water heater.

11/9/06 One of the three furnaces in place.

The new septic pit. The septic tank sits on this slab.

The original shelving is getting some greatly needed reinforcing. These will be electrostatically painted.

The septic tank, notice the concrete lid hanging just above and to the left--work fast, boys!
